Job summary

Une opportunité se présente pour un(e) thérapeute en orthophonie Band 6 à Bristol. Le postholder sera chargé(e) de fournir des services d'évaluation et de réhabilitation à des patients sortant d'hôpital après un AVC, se concentrant sur des problèmes de communication et de déglutition. Les candidats idéaux doivent avoir une expérience pertinente en AVC et neuro, idéalement avec une formation en dysphagie. Ce poste nécessite des déplacements en véhicule personnel.

Qualifications

• Expérience en thérapie de la parole et du langage requise.
• Formation en dysphagie souhaitée.
• Posséder un véhicule personnel pour les déplacements.

Responsibilities

• Fournir l'évaluation et la réhabilitation des patients après un AVC.
• Travailler avec des personnes présentant des problèmes de communication et de déglutition.
• Tous les travaux se font à domicile.

We have a new opportunity for a Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist in Bristol.

Here are the key details to consider for this role:

• Contract date: ASAP – Ongoing
• Shift: Full-Time
• Days of Shift: Monday to Friday
• Time for Shift: 09:00am – 17:00pm
• Duties: To provide assessment and rehabilitation for people after stroke leaving hospital and long term with communication and swallowing problems. The postholder should have relevant stroke and neuro experience as majority of the caseload is working with people with aphasia, apraxia of speech, CCD and dysphagia. They must have their own vehicle. All work is in people’s homes. Ideally they should be dysphagia trained.
