Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Specialist Physiotherapist in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. The role covers inpatient rehabilitation and community pathways, full-time locum for 3 months with shifts 09:00-17:00 or 11:00-19:00, with potential extension to 08:00-20:00.

You will provide assessments, develop rehab plans, and work independently within a multidisciplinary team, with HCPC registration and CSP membership required. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy.
• HCPC registration.
• Experience in community and inpatient rehabilitation.
• CSP membership.
• Experience supervising staff or students.
• Audit and service improvement experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy assessments and personalised rehabilitation plans.
• Deliver tailored treatment programmes and set achievable goals.
• Work independently as a competent practitioner.
• Facilitate early supported discharges from acute hospital services.
• Engage in inpatient rehabilitation pathways.
• Perform comprehensive assessments using clinical reasoning.
• Manage clinical risk within your therapy caseload.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan patient discharges.
• Maintain precise electronic clinical records.
• Participate in developing integrated care pathways.
