A healthcare organization in London is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to deliver specialised services within the Community Neuro Service. The role involves managing a complex caseload, providing assessments and interventions for clients with neurological conditions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team. The Community Neuro Service provides rehabilitation and management for people who have a neurological condition, including stroke, in their own home or appropriate community location. The service provides specialist, coordinated advice and treatment to maximise independence, limit disease progression, reduce hospital admissions, and facilitate smooth transition home following a hospital discharge.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the post holder will hold a complex clinical caseload and deliver a high-quality service to adults with a variety of neurological disabilities. The post holder will be expected to work with the Service Manager/Clinical Lead, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologist, Neuro Navigator, and Rehabilitation Support Workers.
