An established industry player is seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to join their Complex Emotional Needs Team in central Bristol. This role involves delivering structured clinical management to service users with complex emotional needs, facilitating group therapy sessions, and contributing to service improvements. Ideal candidates will be registered healthcare professionals or qualified clinical associate psychologists, including newly qualified social workers. An opportunity has become available for a 12 month fixed term contract within the Central Bristol area of the BNSSG Wide Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) Team. We are a co-produced team who work within the BNSSG area and our main aim is to improve the lives of service users who experience mental health difficulties associated with Complex Emotional Needs (also known as personality disorder). We are looking for a registered healthcare professional or qualified clinical associate psychologist to join our team to deliver care, treatment and service improvements for people seeking support for Complex Emotional Needs.
This post is open to newly qualified social workers. In line with AWP trust policy all newly qualified social workers (NQSW) will be recruited initially at Band 5 level, regardless of advertised role banding. All NQSWs are expected to successfully complete their ASYE within 2 years of employment, unless there are exceptional circumstances in which case it may be extended for a further 2 years.
If you have been appointed to an advertised Band 6 role this will be an automatic progression, following confirmation of your successful ASYE completion. If you have been appointed to a Band 5 post you will then be eligible to apply for a subsequent Band 6 vacancy upon successful ASYE completion.
