Job description

The Audiology Department is seeking a friendly and team-focused audiologist to support adult audiology services. You will join a diverse team of audiologists, admin staff, and management committed to providing excellent patient care.

We are looking for an experienced Audiologist with expertise or interest in advanced testing, tinnitus, balance, or wax removal. Our comprehensive adult audiology service includes GPDR and ENT support. All audiologists are assigned areas of responsibility and will receive necessary training and development. The role offers a four-day workweek, ideal for those seeking work/life balance, variety, or new challenges.

Located conveniently near central London, Queen's Hospital is about 25 minutes by train from Liverpool Street. We aim to deliver outstanding service aligned with PRIDE values. Responsibilities include:
  1. Patient/client care, treatment, and therapy
  2. Performing advanced procedures as appropriate
  3. Managing a diverse diagnostic and rehabilitative caseload, including tinnitus and balance diagnostics with demonstrated competencies
  4. Fitting digital hearing aids according to protocols, including REM and HIT/coupler matching
  5. Conducting hearing tests for children over 3 years old following best practice standards
  6. Recording test results accurately across digital and analogue media
  7. Visiting patients in various settings such as homes, GP surgeries, care homes, or hospital wards
  8. Supervising junior staff and students
  9. Assisting with daily operations of the audiology service, including specific responsibilities
  10. Handling administrative duties as required by the Head of Audiology
