We are seeking a qualified SCPHN School Nurse to join our enthusiastic and innovative School Nursing team. The position is based at Hobmoor Road Health Centre, 192 Hobmoor Road, B10 9JH.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of public health. You should be committed to teamwork, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be capable of leading a multidisciplinary team of school health staff. Your role will involve working with children, young people, and families to identify health needs and ensure these are addressed according to service pathways.
You will work within your designated district to assess the health needs of individual children and the overall school population. Additionally, you will support other districts as needed, proactively addressing factors affecting health to promote the best outcomes for children and young people. Your work will include supporting vulnerable children and families to reduce social exclusion and health inequalities.
