Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse in the Macmillan Unit, Haematology & Oncology SACT pathway. Based in the Cancer Centre, the role is part-time (20 hours) with flexible working options.

You will lead and coordinate the nursing team, ensure safe, high-quality care, and deliver specialist Haematology/Oncology SACT treatment in collaboration with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• A current Band 6 qualification or readiness to step into this level (essential).
• Strong leadership and collaborative approach.
• Passion for delivering outstanding care to patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the nursing team to deliver safe, effective patient care.
• Manage staff allocation, patient flow, and escalation of risk during shifts.
• Deliver specialist Haematology/Oncology SACT care in line with standards.
