We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Physiotherapist to join our team. The post offers the chance to develop clinical skills in managing patients within our Stroke service.
The successful candidate will provide specialist assessment and treatment for Stroke patients on the Acute Stroke unit, White Cross Court Rehab unit, and the Community Stroke team in York. This is a rotational post between Stroke and Neuro, initially focusing on Stroke in the Community Stroke team. The role includes contributing to service and professional development, supporting student placements, and supervising colleagues.

This role allows development of clinical, operational, service improvement, and leadership skills. We have a structured supervision program, and proactive personal development is encouraged. Candidates should have postgraduate experience in Stroke, with knowledge of discharge planning and patient-centered rehabilitation. Training is available from Advanced Clinical Specialists.
