A community health service provider in Birmingham is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their interdisciplinary team. You will manage a caseload of clients with complex impairments and deliver rehabilitation programs across various settings, including hospitals and community locations. Strong clinical experience, communication skills, and the ability to travel are essential for this role.
You will work as part of the interdisciplinary teams at West Midlands Rehab Centre and Moseley Hall Hospital providing a quality Occupational Therapy Service to clients with complex impairments (predominantly significant neurological disability). The post holder will be accountable for a designated caseload, working collaboratively with other Occupational Therapists and the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the client needs are met. The delivery of rehabilitation programs and interventions may be within a local and/or regional remit and take place within the hospital unit, client's home or in the community. These may involve moving around the community without direct support on a daily basis with potentially long periods of driving.
