Role: Rotational Clinical Pharmacist (Cardiac & Respiratory)
Banding: Band 6
Location: London
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 Months from start date
Working Pattern: Full-time, Monday – Friday (with late duties, on-call and weekend shift work required).
Rate: £23 – £29 per hour

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to our hospital’s pharmacy services and lead a dedicated team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support clinical trial activities.
  • Oversee the preparation and dispensing of investigational medicinal products.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of clinical trial activities.
  • Deliver a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service to the cardiac and respiratory wards in collaboration with the Senior Specialist Pharmacist.
  • Promote and contribute to the education and training of pharmacy staff and other clinical staff rotating or working on the specialist wards.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a hospital setting.
  • Desirable: Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills. Commitment to providing excellent patient care.
