Job Title:Reablement Occupational Therapist
Band:Band 6
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside
Working Hours:37.5
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

Pulse Healthcare is currently seeking a Band 6 Reablement Occupational Therapist to join our team in Liverpool, Merseyside. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a short-term contract.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will work closely with patients to assess their needs and set personalised rehabilitation goals, helping them regain independence in daily activities. Conducting assessments, you will determine the need for assistive devices and equipment, ensuring patients have the right tools to support their safety and independence at home. As part of discharge planning, you will carry out home visits to evaluate the living environment, recommend necessary adaptations, and ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home. You will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, attending board rounds to contribute to a holistic, patient-centred rehabilitation plan.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Be HCPC registered as an Occupational therapist
  • Hold a relevant qualification in Occupational therapy
  • Previous NHS experience within reablement ward.
