Job summary

CPL UK Healthcare is recruiting a Band 6 Pharmacy Technician – Radiopharmacy in Dundee for a 3-month, temporary assignment. Working 7am–3pm, in a radiopharmacy clean room, you will prepare radiopharmaceutical tracers and support governance and QA activities.

The role requires GPhC registration, NHS aseptic experience, and knowledge of radiation protection within GMP frameworks. Immediate start is available.

Qualifications

• GPhC registration is required.
• Minimum 6 months NHS hospital experience in aseptic or technical services.
• Competency in aseptic techniques within a clean room environment is essential.
• Experience or knowledge of radiation protection methods is essential.
• Familiarity with radiopharmacy or radiopharmaceutical preparation is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of GMP principles and QA processes.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work within an established clinical governance framework.

Responsibilities

• Aseptic preparation of radiopharmaceutical products within a licensed clean room.
• Apply radiation protection methods in accordance with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records and support quality assurance processes.
• Contribute to the service's clinical governance and quality improvement activities.
