The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Radiopharmacy technician to join a team responsible for preparing diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. You will work at bench and in the cleanroom, ensuring aseptic production, QC and environmental monitoring for both hospital and external departments.

Qualifikationen

• First degree/Foundation degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent education
• Postgraduate diploma in Radiopharmacy or equivalent knowledge and expertise
• At least 1 year experience at Band 4 or equivalent in radiopharmacy or aseptic setting
• Experience with GMP & GCP standards
• Experience handling radioactive materials
• Experience working in a Clinical Trial setting

Aufgaben

• Provide a comprehensive clinical Radiopharmacy service to the Trust and external purchaser
• Support Radiopharmacy clinical trial service to the Trust
• Prepare radioactive medicinal products, document trials and schedule activities
• Perform selected in vitro laboratory tests as part of routine and trial work
• Maintain extremely high standards of accuracy and safety
