Job summary

HealthJobs Ltd in Dundee seeks a Band 6 Radiographer to join the Nuclear Medicine Team. This locum role covers Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT services, with a start date 01/10/2026 and full-time hours 08:30–17:00, Monday to Friday.

You will contribute to diagnostic imaging, therapeutic procedures, and radiopharmacy collaboration. You must be HCPC registered Radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Technologist with experience in Nuclear Medicine.

Qualifications

  • Must be HCPC registered radiographer or Nuclear Medicine technologist.
  • Experience in Nuclear Medicine imaging required.
  • Desirable experience with PET/CT and Clinical Research Centre exposure.

Responsibilities

  • Support Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT services.
  • Deliver diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging.
  • Participate in therapeutic Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Operate SPECT/CT gamma cameras.
  • Support Nuclear Medicine examinations and treatments.
  • Collaborate with Radiopharmacy and laboratory teams.
  • Maintain high standards of patient care and radiation safety.
  • Keep accurate imaging records.

Band 6 Radiographer within Nuclear Medicine Team in Dundee, Angus (UK) - Earn up to £32.37 per hour

This exciting locum opportunity, with a start date of 01/10/2026, offers full-time hours from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. What you will do:
  • Support the Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT services
  • Deliver diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging services

  • Operate SPECT/CT gamma camera systems
  • Support a wide range of Nuclear Medicine examinations
  • Assist with Nuclear Medicine treatments
  • Work collaboratively with the on‑site Radiopharmacy service
  • Team up with the Nuclear Medicine laboratory team
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and radiation safety
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and imaging documentation
Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must be a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist or an HCPC Registered Radiographer with previous experience in Nuclear Medicine. Competence in delivering Nuclear Medicine imaging services and knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures is essential. Desirable candidates will have experience with PET/CT, working within a Clinical Research Centre, operating SPECT/CT gamma cameras, and collaborating with Radiopharmacy services.
