Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel in Cambridge is seeking a Band 6 Radiographer - Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a locum role, with flexible shifts across sites and an ongoing schedule. The hourly rate is negotiable, with options for both part-time and full-time work.

You will join a multidisciplinary Nuclear Medicine team, perform Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT procedures, and maintain patient safety while staying abreast of evolving techniques.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is essential.
• A minimum of two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine or a related radiography specialism is required.
• A driving licence is advantageous for cross-site working opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the provision and service delivery in the Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT Department as a key member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Perform a wide range of Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT procedures, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety at all times.
• Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret imaging results and support patient diagnosis.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in Nuclear Medicine technology and practices.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while managing patient records and documentation.
• Support and educate patients and their families on procedures, offering reassurance and care.
