The post holder is employed within the Trust's Quality Improvement & Clinical Audit Faculty, part of the wider Transformation Directorate which sits under the broader Medical Directorate. The clinical services of the Trust are organised into locality-based and specialist Delivery Units, and the post holder will work closely with members of these units.
The post holder will support the development, delivery, and promotion of the quality improvement implementation plan within the Delivery Units and lead the delivery of the Trust and National Clinical Audit programme.

Ensure initiatives focus on service users and follow co-designed principles. Support staff to deliver continuous improvement, using quality improvement tools and techniques, providing coaching, mentoring, and training. Develop benchmarks, surveys, and collate data to support service improvements. Manage data analysis and presentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Maintain records of clinical audit activity, liaise with relevant departments, and facilitate audit planning and reporting. Support audit action plans and ensure compliance with policies.
Support the delivery of training sessions, promote participation in clinical audits, and encourage evidence-based practice. Maintain personal development and participate in appraisals and networking to stay current with best practices.
Participate in meetings to oversee progress, facilitate forums for report discussion, manage workload, and ensure deadlines are met. Prepare reports for various governance and regulatory bodies. Facilitate project reporting and presentations.
Use appropriate software for data handling, analyze data, and present findings in various formats. Advise staff on data extraction and liaise with information departments for data needs.
