Are you an empathetic Senior Mental Health CAHMS Practitioner looking for an exciting new role?

We are now recruiting for a qualified and experienced Band 6 CAHMS Practitioner to join a well-established NHS trust based in Swindon, Wiltshire, on a locum contract. The successful Learning Disabilities CAHMS Practitioner will manage a caseload of children and young people with various mental health conditions. A qualification in a core profession such as Social Work, Nursing, or Occupational Therapy is required to be considered for the role.

The position offers an immediate start for an initial period of 3 weeks, working full-time hours.

Skills and experience needed:
  • Experience working with children and young people, preferably in a CAMHS setting
  • Managing a caseload
  • Providing clinical treatment work and consultation
  • Experience with a wide range of young people’s mental health presentations
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
