Defence Primary Health Care (DPHC) are looking for a dynamic, organised, and efficient Band 6 Practice Nurse who will be working within our Primary Health Care team at RAF Benson.
As the successful candidate, you will work as partof a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team, leading the delivery of primaryhealthcare nursing including elements of occupational health.

We are searching for someone who is able towork unsupervised, providing high-quality nursing care to the medical facilitypopulation at risk holding an individual case load, and through consultationidentify, assess, diagnose, and manage the care of patients with complex healthneeds, minor injuries, minor illnesses, and specific diseases within theirlevel of competence.

Job Purpose:
Working as partof a multidisciplinary primary healthcare team (MDT) at our Medical Centres at RAF Benson & Abingdon delivering primaryhealthcare nursing including elements of occupational health.
Working withthe Principal Nursing Officer (PNO) or Senior Medical Officer (SMO) within themedical facility (MF) and will be a focal point for Primary Healthcare nursingissues within area of practice.
Working unsupervised and provide nursing care to the Medical Facility (MF)population at risk.
Holding anindividual case load, and through consultation identify, assess and diagnosepatients with complex health needs, minor injuries, minor illnesses andspecific diseases within their level of competence.
