A leading healthcare provider is seeking a Band 6 Podiatrist to deliver high-quality foot care within Birmingham. You will assess, diagnose, and treat patients both in clinics and domiciliary settings. The ideal candidate has a degree in Podiatry, HCPC registration, and experience in NHS settings. The post holder will work as a team member as part of the city wide Podiatry Service within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust (BCHC).
They will operate autonomously in the delivery of high quality foot care treating complex podiatric problems. They will deliver care as a lone worker in clinic and domiciliary settings.
They will be responsible for the assessment diagnosis and treatment planning for new referrals, ensuring that patient care pathways are followed, and that episodes of care are implemented wherever appropriate.
The post holder will contribute to maintaining the independence and mobility of patients whilst promoting the benefits of foot health and foot care advice and self care
