Pay Rates: £20 to £24 per hour
Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement

We are looking for an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Stroke and Neurology Team at Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work with patients recovering from stroke and other neurological conditions within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Assess and treat patients with a range of neurological conditions, particularly stroke, across the acute and rehab pathway
Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans using evidence-based practice
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team including Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Nurses, and Consultants
Participate in discharge planning and ensure safe transitions to the community or other care settings
Contribute to service development, audits, and supervise junior staff or students
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
Minimum 2 years post-grad experience, with at least 6 months in stroke/neuro rehab
Strong clinical reasoning and manual handling skills
Familiarity with outcome measures and goal setting in neuro rehabilitation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Previous NHS experience is essential
