Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Inpatient Rehab Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals who are undergoing mental health rehabilitation. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping clients regain mobility, strength, and independence, contributing significantly to their overall well-being. The role is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours per week for an initial period of 3 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality physiotherapy assessments and interventions to clients with mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs and goals.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and support workers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Educate clients and their families/caregivers on self-management techniques and exercises for continued improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Previous experience working in mental health or rehabilitation settings is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
