Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to work within general medical, surgical, and rehabilitation wards at Christchurch Hospital. The role focuses on assessing and treating patients to restore mobility, promote independence, and support recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' physical and functional needs

Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans
*
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team
*
Educate and advise patients and families on therapy goals
*
Supervise junior staff and students
*
Maintain clear, timely clinical records
*
Support service improvement and development
*
Provide flexible input across inpatient and community settings
Key Requirements:
Degree or diploma in Physiotherapy
*
HCPC registration
*
Minimum 6 months NHS experience
*
Strong clinical skills across a range of medical conditions
*
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
*
Capable of managing a varied caseload independently
*
Commitment to continuing professional development
*
Prior supervisory experience is desirable
