Job Title:Physiotherapist – Elderly Care
Banding:Band 6
Location: Newham, Greater London
Working Hours:Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
Start Date:ASAP
Rate:£25-30 per hour
Duration:Until 5 August

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Physiotherapist specialising in Elderly Care to join our esteemed client in Newham. This role requires working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where you will be responsible for executing a comprehensive range of physiotherapy tasks and procedures. Your advanced expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the precision and reliability of physiotherapy outcomes, which are critical for accurate patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for providing a specialist level of clinical skill in elderly care physiotherapy, managing a clinical caseload of elderly patients, and prioritising your workload to ensure effective service provision. You will use clinical assessments, interview, and observational skills to determine the physiotherapy needs of elderly patients, effectively setting goals and planning interventions. Additionally, you will maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care in community and frailty settings.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in elderly care, community, and frailty physiotherapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • NHS or hospital experience is highly advantageous
