Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Acute Care team at Aintree Hospital. The role involves working with patients in acute medical, surgical, and critical care settings to support recovery, mobility, and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients in acute settings
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for rehabilitation and recovery
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, OTs, and consultants
Provide respiratory physiotherapy support for patients with complex needs
Promote early mobilization and discharge planning to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and progress reports
Requirements:
HCPC registered Physiotherapist
Minimum 6 months NHS experience (mandatory)
Experience in acute medical, surgical, or critical care physiotherapy
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
