Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Therapy Inpatients Team. The successful candidate will provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention to a diverse caseload of patients, promoting function, mobility, and safe discharge planning within an acute hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for a range of inpatient conditions
Develop individualised treatment plans and provide effective rehabilitation
Liaise with patients, families, and the wider MDT to coordinate discharge planning
Recommend mobility aids, equipment, and home adaptations as needed
Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development
Support junior staff and students as appropriate
Key Requirements:
HCPC-registered Physiotherapist
Minimum 6 months NHS experience at Band 6 level or above
Previous experience in acute inpatient physiotherapy desirable
Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and organisational skills
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced hospital setting
Additional Information:
Full-time hours preferred (Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:30)
