We are pleased to offer two full-time Band 6 Physiotherapist vacancies within the Respiratory and Home Oxygen Service in Oxfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and experienced physiotherapists to join a dynamic, multidisciplinary team providing specialist respiratory care and pulmonary rehabilitation to patients living with chronic respiratory conditions.

The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care to individuals across Oxfordshire, helping to optimise their respiratory health, improve quality of life, and support self-management. This includes the assessment, development, and implementation of tailored pulmonary rehabilitation programmes, as well as the provision of home oxygen therapy and long-term condition management.

You will work in a variety of community settings, including outpatient clinics, patients' homes, and group rehabilitation venues. This role offers a high degree of autonomy and clinical responsibility, supported by strong professional leadership and opportunities for ongoing development.

We are looking for individuals with a passion for respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across health and social care boundaries. Experience in respiratory physiotherapy and/or pulmonary rehabilitation is desirable, although training and support will be provided for the right candidates.

Main duties of the job
  • To work as part of a county wide team providing pulmonary rehabilitation to those who are eligible to attend.
  • To assess, plan, deliver and evaluate programmes of care in a response to planned and urgent need.
  • Identifying suitable patients for the programme.
  • Supporting patients through the programme with a focus on their long term management
  • Assisting the pulmonary rehabilitation lead in service development and accreditation
