The role focuses on aseptic preparation, sterile products, and high-precision compounding in a GMP environment, supporting patient care in a dynamic pharmacy setting.

The ideal candidate is registered with HCPC, has aseptic training, and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with a driving licence preferred for flexibility around the Lancaster area.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with HCPC registration.
• Evidence of aseptic preparation training.
• Experience in cleanroom, aseptic unit or GMP environment.
• Experience in sterile product preparation (IV medicines).

Responsabilités

• Prepare and dispense medications in line with legal and organisational requirements.
• Ensure accuracy in sterile product preparation including IV medicines.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and contamination control.
• Utilise laminar airflow cabinets and isolators for sterile compounding.
• Maintain detailed batch records and traceability with high accuracy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise services and patient outcomes.
• Train and mentor junior staff as required.

What you will do:

Qualifications and Training:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with an Accuracy Checking Qualification.
• Current evidence of aseptic preparation training.
• Proven experience in a cleanroom, aseptic unit, or GMP-controlled environment.
• Practical experience in the preparation of sterile products like intravenous medicines.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and contamination control practices.
• HCPC registration is a must, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Being a car driver is preferable to facilitate easy commute and flexibility.
