Are you a Band 6 Pharmacist with dispensary/procurement experience looking for your next role? This is an exciting opportunity for you to lead and manage the day-to-day operational management of a dispensary service!

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Pay

£22 - £25 per hour (depending on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Band 6 Pharmacist, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Clinically check prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing of medicines
  2. Supervise dispensary staff and maintain high standards of service and safety
  3. Manage stock levels and oversee the procurement process
  4. Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and trust policies
  5. Provide training and development support for pharmacy technicians and assistants
  6. Collaborate with the wider pharmacy and healthcare teams to optimise patient care
  7. Maintain accurate records and support the safe and effective supply of medicines
Requirements & Qualifications:
  1. GPhC Registration
  2. Relevant degree in Pharmacy
  3. Previous experience managing and leading a dispensary service
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a team
  5. Strong knowledge of procurement processes and dispensary operations
Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This position requires full-time availability Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The contract length is from ASAP until September 2025, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
