Job description

We have a new opportunity for a Band 6 Pharmacist (General) in Margate.

Here are the key details to consider for this role:

  • Contract date: ASAP – 30th September
  • Shift: Full-Time
  • Days of Shift: Monday to Friday
  • Time for Shift: 09:00am – 17:00pm
  • Duties:Provide a patient focused clinical service. Demonstrate and apply the principals of effective medicines optimisation as part of day to day activities. To identify and address any medication safety concerns within their clinical area. Escalating when needed to senior clinical pharmacy staff. Effective contribution to the MDT to which the post holder is assigned as a clinical pharmacist. Make appropriate referrals as part of effective medicines optimisation demonstrating excellent clinical reasoning and judgement. To ensure effective clinical handover to other members of the MDT and beyond in supporting safe patient care. To support and develop the clinical pharmacy service. In all aspects of the role to follow legal, ethical, professional and employers’ codes of conduct.
  • Requirements: Registered with the General Pharmaceutical council. Working towards graduate Diploma in General Practice Pharmacy or equivalent demonstrable knowledge gained through a broad spectrum of clinical pharmacy training and experience.
