Role: Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist
Banding: Band 6
Location: Finchley
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00 – £47,000.00 per annum

The AHP team at Pulse is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech & Language Therapist to Join our dedicated team at a specialist complex autism school, working with children aged 3-19 years. Your role will be to support these children in learning, thriving, achieving, and belonging. As part of a trans-disciplinary team, you will contribute to planning, adapting, monitoring, and reporting on learners’ access to and progress through their personalized study programs.

Your main responsibilities as a Speech and Language Therapist:

You will provide speech and language therapy for pupils and students through individual and group intervention programs. You will motivate students and staff to engage with assessment and intervention programs using a variety of activities, strategies, and techniques. You will write and support the fidelity of speech and language therapy programs for others to deliver. You will review, refine, and develop the universal speech and language therapy offer within the setting.

What we are looking for in a Speech and Language Therapist:

  • HCPC registered
  • Experience working with children and young people with autism, learning disabilities, and other special educational needs
  • Knowledge of designing and adapting AAC to suit the needs of individuals
