Pulse have recently partnered with one of the leading healthcare providers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Neuro-Rehabilitation School in Tadworth. You will provide specialist occupational therapy to children and young people accessing our school and residential services. Your role will involve delivering high-quality, evidence-based assessments and interventions to those with neuro disabilities and neurodevelopmental concerns within a multidisciplinary and multi-agency setting.
Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist:
You will conduct specialist occupational therapy assessments for children with complex needs, including multiple co-morbidities, neuro disabilities, and chronic conditions, using both standardised and non-standardised assessments and clinical observations. You will develop and implement individualised, 24-hour occupational therapy programmes/strategies that integrate into the child’s daily routine, to be carried out by parents or members of the Multidisciplinary Team. These programmes should be regularly monitored, evaluated, and adjusted as needed. You will teach, integrate, and monitor occupational therapy interventions within the child’s environment.
