Job description

Band 6 - Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner, Theatres

The post holder will be responsible for:

1. The assessment of care needs, planning, delivering, and evaluating a high standard of nursing care.
2. Contributing to the safe and efficient running of the operating theatre department through the acceptance of additional responsibilities.
3. Being an accomplished communicator able to contribute, implement, and evaluate clinical and professional standards.
4. Initiating and developing evidence-based practice, ensuring all staff are aware of current issues and changes.
5. Ensuring the administration and documentation of drugs are in accordance with Trust policy.
