Banding:Band 6 or 7
Location:Newbury
Working Hours:Full-time, 36 hours per week across 5 days Monday to Friday, with the occasional Saturday
Start Date:ASAP
Rate:£55K – £61K per annum
Duration: Permanent, Ongoing

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Pharmacy Manager to join our esteemed client in a community pharmacy in Newbury. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on others’ lives. Whether you’re supporting pharmacists, providing top-notch services to customers, or fostering community spirit, your work will touch the lives of hundreds of people every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply prescriptions, deliver a range of NHS and Private services and provide healthcare advice to customers
  • Play an active role in our charities support program giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
  • Lead, train, and develop colleagues.
  • Build relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs’ surgeries
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items.
  • Use a planning system to ensure pharmacy staff are available, so we’re always there to meet our customers’ needs

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Pharmacy Degree.
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Passionate about leading and empowering a team.
