Band 6 or 7 Oncology Dietitian - Locum Role (Bristol or Remote)

Are you a Dietitian with specialist experience in oncology care? Hunter Gatherer AHP is seeking a Band 6 or 7 Oncology Dietitian for a locum role based in Bristol or available remotely. This is an ongoing contract with flexibility for up to full-time hours and immediate start.

Position Overview

Job Title: Band 6 or 7 Oncology Dietitian

Location: Bristol or Remote

Contract Length: Ongoing

Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Start Date: ASAP

Pay Rate: Dependent on experience and banding (up to Band 7 level)

Working Pattern: Up to full-time (flexibility considered)

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide specialist dietetic care to oncology patients across treatment pathways
2. Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualised care plans
3. Offer evidence-based nutritional interventions for patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or surgery
4. Liaise closely with multidisciplinary teams both in-person and remotely
5. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records

Essential Criteria

1. HCPC-registered Dietitian
2. Experience in oncology dietetics essential
3. Strong clinical knowledge in cancer care and nutrition support
4. Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
5. Proficiency in remote consultation platforms (if working remotely)
