Are you a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding locum role in South East London? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility!
Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist (Band 6)
Location: South East London (Hospital & Community Settings)
Duration: 3–6 months (with potential to extend)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: Ongoing (initial 3–6 month contract)

What You’ll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and play a key role in improving the lives of children and young people across acute and community settings. In this role, you will:
Perform comprehensive assessments for paediatric patients
Create and implement tailored intervention and care plans
Deliver evidence-based therapy to promote functional development
Collaborate closely with families, schools, and multi-disciplinary teams
Maintain clear and accurate documentation in line with NHS standards
Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A current and valid HCPC registration
Experience in paediatrics, ideally within NHS acute/community settings
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
A commitment to delivering high-quality, family-centred care
Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This is a flexible, full-time locum role requiring availability Monday to Friday, with some flexibility for community-based work. The initial contract is for 3–6 months with a strong chance of extension depending on service needs and performance.
