Location: Wolverhampton
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £35,617 – £43,027 per annum

Pulse have recently partnered with one of the leading healthcare providers. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Wolverhampton. As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be a crucial part of our multi-disciplinary clinical team, supporting educational and residential colleagues to create therapeutic living and learning environments. Based on clinical assessment and formulation, you will offer individualized interventions and engagement to our young people who present with a complexity of needs, including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, and special educational needs.

Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist:

You will collaborate within our schools and children’s homes to ensure therapeutic support is integrated into all aspects of our services. You will provide consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to educational and residential teams. You will support teams around a child or young person to ensure clinically informed living and learning environments. You will deliver therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.

What we are looking for in an Occupational Therapist:

  • Is a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
  • Has experience in delivering therapeutic interventions for children and young people with complex needs.
  • Can support teams to provide clinically informed environments.
  • Is a confident, engaging, and effective model, guide, leader, and trainer.
  • Is highly organized and proactive.
  • Is committed to ensuring the best outcomes for young people.
