Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist with a specialist background in neurology to join our dynamic Neuro OT team. You will work with a neuro and neuro-cardiac patient cohort, providing timely assessments, implementing treatment programmes, and supporting discharge planning.
Role and Responsibilities:
Undertake comprehensive neuro assessments, including cognitive and perceptual evaluations
Plan and deliver personalised rehabilitation and functional re-training
Work closely with the MDT on complex discharges and rehab plans
Provide input into specialist seating needs
Support patients within the ICU setting where required
Requirements:
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Proven experience in neurology with specialist neuro skills
Expertise in cognitive and perceptual assessment, functional rehab, and discharge planning
Knowledge of specialist seating and experience in intensive care (desirable)
