Pay Mechanism: Direct Engagement

Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to support individuals undergoing cancer treatment, helping them regain function and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions for patients undergoing cancer treatment
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
• Develop and implement individualized care plans to address physical, emotional, and social challenges
• Educate patients, families, and carers on strategies to manage daily activities effectively
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service development initiatives

Key Requirements:

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in oncology or working with patients with complex needs (preferred)
• Strong assessment and rehabilitation planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload independently
