Job Overview:We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist with experience in a general rehabilitation setting to join the team at Newhaven. This is a rewarding opportunity to support patients with diverse rehabilitation needs and make a real impact on their recovery journey. Part-time hours can be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a designated caseload of patients, ensuring effective prioritization and time management.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Utilize validated outcome measures to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Collaborate with patients, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to set and achieve rehabilitation goals.
Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff and students as required.
Key Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist in a general rehabilitation setting.
Strong assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
