A healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join their team in West Essex. You will provide OT assessments and interventions for adults with mental health needs, working closely with a multidisciplinary team. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to expand clinical skills and experience within West Essex Community Mental Health provision for adults, covering Harlow, Uttlesford and Epping Forest localities. You will be part of a small, friendly and skilled Occupational Therapy team providing focused OT assessment and intervention to clients through 1:1 and group work.
The OT team sits within the wider multi-disciplinary team, delivering holistic support for clients with complex and enduring mental health needs requiring secondary level mental health care.

In summary, the post holder will be part of the Occupational Therapy team and wider CMHT, delivering OT-focused assessment, treatment and support to community-dwelling adults within West Essex who are in receipt of care from secondary mental health services. The post holder should be able and willing to travel between community sites within West Essex.
