Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to expand clinical skills and experience within West Essex Community Mental Health provision for adults, covering Harlow, Uttlesford and Epping Forest localities. You will be part of a small, friendly and skilled Occupational Therapy team providing focused OT assessment and intervention to clients through 1:1 and group work.

The OT team sits within the wider multi-disciplinary team, delivering holistic support for clients with complex and enduring mental health needs requiring secondary level mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Undertake OT assessments and care planning.
• Deliver interventions, including facilitating groups and individual sessions.
• Support the supervision and appraisal of junior staff.
• Work within a busy team environment to develop a wide range of clinical skills.
