Band 6 Occupational Therapist- Coleraine

MPA are currently recruiting Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Coleraine area. This position will have an immediate start available. The post holder will work as an integral member of the multi-disciplinary Team and ensure a high quality, responsive occupational therapy service for patients presenting with a range of health conditions.

Role Responsibilities

1. Manage a defined caseload of patients and be responsible for prioritising workload in line with agreed Trust priorities, policies and procedures.
2. Undertake comprehensive, client centred occupational therapy assessment and treatment of patients presenting with a range of mental health conditions; on occasions clients may also have physical health difficulties and/or learning disabilities.
3. Select, apply and interpret a range of standardised and non-standardised assessments to identify deficits in functional performance.
4. Appropriately select and use a range of treatment media, which reflects the outcome of assessments and identified goals.
5. Offer professional support and advice to clients/carers in relation to the occupational therapy intervention and general management of their condition.

Essential Criteria

1. 2 years post qualifying experience in Occupational Therapy.
2. Degree/Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
3. HCPC Registration on application.
4. Hold a current full driving licence.

Rewards

1. Pay £19.10-£30.44 per hour.
2. Weekly pay.
