We are seeking a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the team at Barking, Havering, and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. This role involves providing expert occupational therapy services in general healthcare settings, working to enhance patients’ independence and quality of life.
Deliver comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals across a variety of healthcare needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered, holistic care
Provide guidance and support to families and carers to aid patient recovery
Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with trust policies and professional standards
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
Proven experience in a general occupational therapy role, ideally within the NHS
Excellent communication, assessment, and organizational skills
Ability to manage a varied and complex caseload effectively
A commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care
