We have an exciting opportunity for a band 6 or experienced band 5 OT to join our amazing integrated therapy team.As a Childrens OT, you will be part of the Children and Young Peoples Integrated Therapy team under the direction of a Band 7 therapist. There will also be dedicated time and opportunities to shadow therapists in various settings, attend training
Main duties of the jobFunction as a specialist autonomous clinician, with a role in supporting delivery of the CYPIT model, development of the CYPF (Children and Young People and Families model).
Provide specialist clinical care including assessment, diagnosis and interventions, for a mixed caseload, and to be active in providing guidance and support to other more junior staff.
Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs in area of specialist expertise, using evidence based/person-centred principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
Provide specialist therapy input into clinical services within a designated area/team, contributing to defined projects as requested by Clinical Leads.
Provide high quality supervision as appropriate to your level of knowledge and skill to several band 5/4/3 therapists, enabling them to do the same to more junior staff.
