South Bedfordshire Community Health Services is seeking a full-time Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the Community Occupational Therapy service within the Primary Care Home Team. The role involves working in a 7-day service with 8am-9pm coverage and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
You will travel across Bedfordshire, demonstrate leadership, and engage with stakeholders while meeting service user needs and supporting carers and colleagues.

We are a 7 day service 8am-9pm., You will work closely alongside all members of the therapy team: Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Rehabilitation Support Workers, as well as a wider multi-disciplinary workforce across Bedfordshire. You will build close links with the professionals and services required to wrap around the needs of each individual to provide a holistic approach.
You will need to be innovative, forward thinking, self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Being a collaborative worker, with the ability to network and build relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders will be essential., All applicants need to hold a degree/diploma in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC as well as holding leadership experience with team management skills. Due to the nature of the post the applicant must be able to meet the travel requirements to travel across the county of Bedfordshire.,
