An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced older adult clinician to join the BaNES Older Adult Community Mental Health Team, a well-established, multi-disciplinary, integrated team.

The post is based in Bath and North East Somerset, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a beautiful city, surrounded by countryside, with diverse arts, culture, and sports. It's easily accessible from surrounding areas, with rail links to Bristol and beyond. Staff parking, pool cars, electric car charge points, and cycling lock-up facilities are available.

You will join the team during a transition to the key worker role, replacing care co-ordination. Your responsibilities include providing specific interventions to individuals with significant mental health needs and those with dementia, aiming to enhance well-being and independence. This involves collaborative, holistic, and solution-focused work, including delivering therapeutic interventions, supporting treatment engagement, risk assessment and management, care needs assessment, and facilitating appropriate care packages.
The role offers opportunities to develop supervisory skills by supervising qualified and unqualified team members.
