We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join our NHS esteemed client’s team in Beckenham, Kent. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start from immediately for a short-term contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.

What will your responsibilities be?

You will conduct ongoing, accurate assessments of the risks that service users pose to themselves or others and effectively communicate these risks to all involved in their care, including those outside of mental health services when appropriate. You will manage these risks effectively, especially in settings where there may be no other mental health professional support, ensuring the safety of both the service users and yourself. Your expertise will be crucial in handling unpredictable user groups and maintaining a safe environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Registration on relevant professional membership board.
  • Clinical experience in mental health setting
  • Experience with a wide range of mental health presentations.
  • Can work well independently and as part of the team.
