Job summary

St George's University Hospitals is seeking a motivated and compassionate Qualified Mammographer to join our Breast Imaging team, delivering screening and symptomatic mammography as part of a multidisciplinary service. You will perform mammography procedures, ensuring high image quality and patient safety.

You will work autonomously at Band 6 level where qualified, contribute to early detection, QA, and service improvement, and support flexible working arrangements to meet patient and service

Qualifications

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-quality service delivering both screening and symptomatic mammography as part of a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient care., The successful candidate will perform a range of mammography procedures, ensuring the highest standards of image quality, safety, and patient experience. You will play a key role in supporting the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease, while contributing to service development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach are essential, particularly when supporting patients who may be anxious or distressed.
