Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Band 6 Mammographer in Lancaster, UK to operate GE mammography equipment and deliver high-quality breast imaging across UHMBT sites and mobile units.

This 12-month maternity cover offers a Monday to Friday schedule with an hourly rate of £26, rising to £29.78 per hour for enhanced duties, and provides opportunities to develop skills through multi-site work and collaborative care with consultants and advanced practitioners.

Qualifications

• Qualified Breast Screening & Symptomatic Mammographer.
• Trained on GE mammography equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate GE mammography equipment to perform high-quality breast imaging.
• Assist in interventional procedures alongside Advanced Practitioners and Consultants.
• Travel to UHMBT sites and mobile units as required to deliver top-notch mammography services.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to support patient care and service delivery.
• Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with the medical team to contribute to effective screening and diagnostic pathways.
