Job Description:

Are you a skilled and compassionate nurse with experience in managing lymphedema? We are seeking a dedicated Lymphedema Nurse to join our team and provide specialized care to patients suffering from this condition. With a competitive pay rate of £60 per hour, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a healthcare professional looking to make a significant impact on patients' quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose patients with lymphedema.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including manual lymphatic drainage, compression therapy, exercise, and skin care.
  • Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques to manage symptoms effectively.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
Requirements:

Ideally, a Lymphedema Specialist, but we will also consider:

  • Practice Nurse, District Nurse, Tissue Viability Nurse (TVN). Experience with compression bandages and cancer care is essential.
  • Specialized training or certification in lymphedema management.
  • Proven experience working with lymphedema patients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Please also bear in mind our £250 referral fee bonus for any nurse you refer who we place in a 3-month contract.

We also offer a £400 sign-up bonus for any new nurses that register with our agency. This will be paid in your first pay packet.
