Job Description:
We are looking for a Band 6 Locum Stroke Physiotherapist to join our team. This role is based at the Royal London Hospital (RLH) but involves working within the community setting of Tower Hamlets. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have the right to work in the UK. Experience in stroke or neurological physiotherapy is essential, and community experience is preferable. The role focuses on delivering care within the stroke pathway and supporting the Community Stroke Team.
What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapist role?
As a Band 6 Locum Stroke Physiotherapist, you will provide specialised physiotherapy services to patients with stroke and neurological conditions. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, and providing ongoing rehabilitation to support patients’ recovery and maximise their functional independence. You will work within the stroke pathway and collaborate with the Community Stroke Team to ensure integrated and effective care delivery. Although based at RLH, your role will primarily involve working in the community setting of Tower Hamlets, requiring you to deliver high-quality care in patients’ homes or community settings. Effective communication with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals is essential for optimising patient outcomes and ensuring a cohesive approach to stroke rehabilitation.
